In 1920,Chicago Bears once is called Staleys,which is a name of starch factory!The team of that time is located in Dcart,Illinois and it is one of the early teams of American professional football conference!In 1921,it was moved to Chicago and corespnsdingly the name is changed to Chicago Staleys!In 1922,APFA is channge into current Natioanl Football League when Staleys is change into Chicago Bears!The reason on changing is that all teams owners and coach George Halas all thinked that since football players are more stronger than baseball players,therefore the football team can be also as strong as the bear!
